Today dionaea 0.8.0 has been released.
Dionaea 0.8.0 has been released and autotools has been replaced by cmake in this release.
cmake
The main new feature of dionaea 0.8.0 is the migration from autools to cmake. We have fixed some additional issues during the build process and have also added some additional features like the hash of the git commit in the version string.

From now on we try to provide a migration guide from one version to the next to simplify the upgrade process.
IPv4 mapped IPv6
Enabling IPv4 mapped IPv6 addresses was the default option since version 0.1.0 but from version 0.8.0 on this is a feature that can be enabled in the config file and is disabled by default. We recommend to disable this feature and use the native IPv4 and IPv6 support of you operating system.
